Visit a local biz and grab a copy of the paper for all the details while residents and denizens of the East side wait for Kansas City to show the same commitment to neighborhoods in the urban core that they've already demonstrated when it comes to handing out corporate welfare.

Just buy some ads, leave an envelope full of cash on the Eric's desk or fund an account in the name of Eric Wesson at Harold Pener's and The Call will reverse its opinion.

Their website's been empty and 'under construction' for more than a year. Is it that hard to find a black digital guy with sufficient skills to help them out?

That'S funny because they just had a story on the website about Cynthia Newsome's battle with breast cancer in October. They never had color pictures or a website when Lucille was around so I would say they are more than a modern fit. Lucille who quit writing and managing the paper over 20 years ago never challenged issues or government. Why does the person managing their website have to be Black? Maybe they can't find a White person to work it.
