- The timeline seems to be the key in this situation and shows that safety for workers and nearby residents wasn't a primary concern by more than a few companies working hard to avoid any blame.
- Expect benefit overload as service industry folks are kindhearted but not very good with follow-through . . . The best bet is for a big benefit blowout. (Too soon?)
- Most of the d-bag locals urging constant solemnity on this tragedy probably would've never been able to afford to dine at JJ's.

As a victim, you do not rate an appearance by the Mayor unless you're a dead sports figure or you're the brother of one of his pals and you own a watering hole catering to the elite. In those cases, he will drop everything to get in front of the camera.

But if ya look at the stats per capita, oh my god.
Blacks are 14% of the population.
ALL violent criminals should be incarcerated.
What I find incredible is that the Fire Department, with all of it's highly trained emergency responders and it's responsibility to protect the public, would defer control of a clearly dangerous scene and abandon it to a single utility company worker.

So...gas is toxic to inhale. If people were getting that sick, shouldn't they have been evacuated IMMEDIATELY? Didn't KCFD just absorb the city's EMS system? Aren't they supposed to now look out not only for the safety AND health of people in their jurisdiction? Where is it written in the city's policy that the fire department didn't have ultimate authority in how to handle a potential explosion and health hazard? It makes no sense that emergency personnel must defer to the gas company when multiple people are puking and close to passing out, even if MGE swore everything was "under control".

However, violence and death among the african american community, shootings, killings, stabbings, and generic beat downs are as common and frequent as Alonzo's race baiting.
