Jackson County Dog Day Has Arrived

And finally a LONG AWAITED bit of Jackson County progress . . .

The brand-new Jackson County Regional Animal Shelter in Independence is scheduled to open in April after the city and county worked out a funding dispute that delayed its use.

Sadly the deal works out pretty horrible for a few employees but it's all worth it now that a few metro mutts can live better than the growing underclass of crazy people roaming Kansas City Downtown streets.
