Could The Lawsuit Against The Kansas City Toy Train Also Kill The E-Tax?!?!
Star columnist Dave Helling mostly talks down the streetcar lawsuit but then offers this scenario: "Imagine the possibilities if some judge unexpectedly says everyone who pays the earnings tax should be allowed to vote on it, including taxpayers who work in the city but live outside it."

There are always those who live outide a municipality but pay taxes to it but for fewer than 1,000 to be able to bankrupt a city of 450,000 is extreme.
There's zero parallels about taxes. If that's the case, anyone who lives in Missouri but works and pays taxes in Kansas would be able to vote in KS and Missouri.
Whoever sent this in to Tony doesn't really understand the world we live in very well.
Just like streetcars have bankrupted Tuscon, Cincinnatti, DC, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, Phoenix, New Orleans, Charlotte, Little Rock, etc. etc. etc.
FEARFEARFEAR the future.
