BREAKING!!! KANSAS CITY SOCIAL MEDIA EMERGENCY RESPONSE TIME FIX?!?!? LOCAL 42 PROMOTES PULSE POINT APP!!!

Kansas City crowdsourcing could help fix our ongoing Ambulance Response Time problems.

Take a look . . .

PulsePoint App (Local 42 of Greater Kansas City)

What is Pulse Point?

"PulsePoint is an enterprise-class, software-as-a-service (SaaS) pre-arrival solution designed to support public safety agencies working to improve cardiac arrest survival rates through improved bystander performance and active citizenship. Where adopted, the PulsePoint app empowers everyday citizens to provide life‐saving assistance to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Application users who have indicated they are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and willing to assist in case of an emergency can now be notified if someone nearby is having a cardiac emergency and may require CPR."

For more info on the Pulse Point App . . . Check their website: Pulse Point.org

Kudos to Local 42 for the 3d logo. Very nice.

Meanwhile . . .

I'm still working on getting my bikini inspector certification because I'm all about helping people.

Update . . . Video taken down for some strange reason.

  1. At some point, we will all be required by the Government to have "CLEAR!!!" apps installed on our phones which will enable us to administer electic shocks to people we think are having heart attacks.

Accidentally setting off this app while on the phone will give you a "Bazooka Joe Haircut" look and smell kinda funny.

  2. This is not really Cathy Jolly2/13/13, 6:53 AM

I knew things would get much better once Cathy Jolly was back in the halls of government. I think we should give her more money and a nicer car in order to keep her helping us. I just think things are so much nicer now.

Oh KCFD just now waking up and going to start this? Other cities been doing this type stuff for years. In fact a lot of cities require a dispatcher to be an EMT as well. KCFD such an ass backward ran department.

Thought all EMS units were suppose to be sitting in fire stations now and not still in QuikTrip lots? Yes! is real safe during morning and evening rush hours when QT is really busy to have a EMS unit trying to get out of the parking lot and out onto a busy street in route to a call. I swear this is the most fucked up town.
