I thought Crystal Williams was supposed to bring sweeping changes . . . Like it or not, this longtime politico probably wields more power than the odd lady out.

YES, I'M SURE FRED IS A GREAT GUY BUT EVEN THE URBAN LEGEND THAT HE WILL SERVE ANOTHER TERM NEEDS TO BE PUT TO REST RIGHT NOW!!!
40 years on a single legislative body is a remarkable career and a testament to a Kansas City political legacy . . . Anything more is an insult.
Actually, I'm hoping that Mr. Arbanas will gracefully step down at the end of his term instead of letting those who would manipulate an ELDERLY elder statesman continue to live off a local legend.
Does this make him the longest serving elected JACOMO official? The other person who comes to mind is Rudy Roper, mayor of Sugar Creek for like forever.
