TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MEDIA IMPRESARIO CRAIG GLAZER EXPLAINS RECENT INTERNETS DRAMA IN HIS OWN WORDS!!!

More than any other media personality in Kansas City, Craig Glazer has earned more than his share of fair share of haters and fans.

When it comes to his media persona, there is no middle-ground when it comes to Craig Glazer. People either love him or hate him but just about EVERYBODY in Kansas City knows his name and reputation for better or worse.

For the record, whenever I've talked to him, Craig has been nothing but nice to me and I think the average Internet hater would be surprised by Mr. Glazer's thoughtfulness and insight on a great many topics.

And now . . .

THIS AFTERNOON TKC EARNED AN INTERVIEW WITH CRAIG GLAZER AND WILL OFFER SOME EXCLUSIVE INSIGHT FROM THE COMEDY CLUB OWNER IN HIS OWN WORDS!!!

Most media denizens already know that Craig Glazer was a founding member of the KC Confidential group blog started by former KC Star columnist Hearne Christopher. TKC also wrote for this blog for a bout a year and change. Recently, Mr. Glazer and Mr. Christopher parted company and ended their collaboration. We've mentioned the controversy a bit, also there was a previous posting on the topic that attempted to "smooth over" the issue and put it behind the local blog managed from Lawrence, KS. However, it's clear that Mr. Glazer wanted to address the topic in his own words.

So here goes . . .

CHECK THIS EXCLUSIVE Q&A REGARDING CRAIG GLAZER'S FALLING OUT WITH A FORMER KANSAS CITY STAR WRITER AND THE END OF THEIR BLOGGING ENDEAVORS!!!

TKC: Please, tell us what you think happened that led up your departure from the blog?

CRAIG GLAZER: "Once the dust settled, I think Hearne finally had the chance to sit down and realize that my posts were dominating his blog. It was really becoming "The Craig Show" after awhile. When it started out I think it was something he wanted to do for himself and then he just responded to the most-popular and well-read posts."

More . . .

CRAIG GLAZER: "But let's be honest. I regularly appear on 4 different top radio shows in Kansas City along with more than a few TV show appearances. I'm also working on a web series . . . In all of these ventures I've attempted to mention Hearne's site as much as possible . . . So it's clear that I was a team player and it wasn't just a situation where I was being ghostwritten.

As to the "ghostwriting issue" there was an attempt to address this topic by way of a follow-up post on the former Star columnist's blog but, as usual, Craig explains things far more eloquently and clearly . . .

CRAIG GLAZER: "I've worked with some of the top writers in Hollywood. I've sold and optioned several screenplays to major studios as a co-author. So, while I might not be a writer up to the caliber of Hearne or some other bloggers, I think it's fair to say that I have a strong grasp of content, story and literary expression. I'm guilty of grammatical and spelling errors like everybody else; especially when responding angrily to a mean and far too personal comment. But by and large the notion that I'm just totally rewritten is incorrect. Obviously, there's more to the story. Think about it this way: Wouldn't it be worth rewriting and correcting the most popular writer on a website?"

TKC: That makes sense. So, how would you summarize how it all went down?

CRAIG GLAZER: I just want to emphasize that I still consider myself Hearne's friend and there are no hard feelings. But thinking back on it I guess I would have liked a bit more consideration of my contribution to the site. Again, I wrote for the site for free and I just didn't feel like there was a lot of gratitude for my efforts. If he would have called me and said that I might want to 'dial it back' that would have been fine. But, the fact is that I was getting calls for my take on one issue after the next and then the effort I spent to write the content was regularly received with backhanded compliments along with a strategy that seemed to use my writing simply for shock value without serious consideration of the issues under discussion. In the end, it just didn't seem worth it.

The conclusion?

Don't expect to see Craig Glazer abandon his high profile . . . The local media impresario has an exceedingly busy schedule with no plans to slow down.

However . . .

DON'T BE SURPRISED TO SEE A FEW CRAIG GLAZER POSTS ON TKC IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!

We're still working out the details but I think Mr. Glazer would certainly be a welcomed addition to our local discourse on this corner of the Internets and among the TKC Blog Community.

DEVELOPING . . .

  2. I think on TKC he might have a better chance of reaching a more diverse audience. You should sign up Hearne too while you're at it.

  8. As usual, TKC makes another factual error.

Craig was not a "founding member" of the KCC writing team. Not even close.

Year and a half or so in, at my invitation.

I think he would be an excellent addition to TKC however, as I've noticed that the site has been falling off in readership this past year.

    Go for it!

  12. LOL. KC interwebs battle 2013! Bring it!

I equally like both TKC and KCC, though. So this will eventually fizzle out to nothing before long.

And Craig, I am IMDB'ing you. I guess all your specs were optioned. Anything produced?

  13. Word is Hearne's new wife, not sure if it's his third or fourth, was not keen on Mr. Glazers mysogynistic ramblings, and she more than Hearne kaboshed the relationship. Glazer's a self absorbed douchebag that 7 out of 10 people have never heard of. Fake hair, steroids, human growth hormone and underage skanks do not a man make. The main emotion targeted towards him is sympathy, not jealousy. He is the Michael Lohan of Kansas City

  14. Speaking for what is sure to be a VAST MAJORITY of TKC readers we only need Craig for his SEX stories. Legit or not they are fun. Otherwise keep him on a short leash.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I had heard that Glazer dictated his stories to Hernia. He didn't write a thing.
When you go through so many wives as Hearne you get bored easily. Look at all the writers who have quit!!!
Let's face it, Hearne's site is one written by his advertisers. It has no credibility whatsoever. It is the same as an "advertorial."

Craig is more interesting than Hearne.

Neither are as funny as Chuck.

None of them are connected to much at all but their own ego.

I would appreciate more boobies tomorrow. U missed ur chance to showcase the best of african american teets. Gotta love a bit of chocolate milk. Do better next time.

  17. This is rich. Two post menopausal men, defined more by their fathers than themselves, seeking relevance in the impetuousity of youth as opposed to the wisdom of age. Internet blogs carry the same weight as bathroom graffiti and yet these two will continue to seek prominence by seeing whose turds attract the most ants. Carry on gentlemen. Your forefathers are extremely proud.

  22. Score this round to Glazer. He has a business, a career and a bigger audience than some former writer who can't even run a blog.

I'd rather see pics on here of Craigs quality tail he pulls in vs that gook bitch that made Hearne her bride.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Craig's "tail" consists of underage girls, amateur porn actresses that bring their children to a ménage a trois, aging muffin tops, psycho broads and skank ho's that can't get backstage to bang aging rock stars. The only thing worse than your daughter mudsharking is your daughter Glazer-sharking.

  35. What kind of douchebag lawyer ever represented Glazer in the past?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Entertaining as fuck but a bit silly.

These local celebs think ANYBODY cares what they do?

    I think NOT.

  37. Glazer is kcconfidential's "Crime and Punishment" writ ever so small.

Now, in remembrances of things past, guilt by way of moral dilemma is an antiquaited and uncomfortable pair of Air Jordans that can't be returned, because they were strolen from your neighbor with de facto permission from your Attorney General.

In the new world order, where identity politics and self aggrandizement is the crid de coeur, Glazer's stories reign, rail, rule, reign, reign reign!!

Pulling the number on his jersey off of his chest and screaming into the camera at every self proclaimed conquest is different from Tony's Rap Videos----How?

It's RAYCISS that hate Craig Glazer!!

In a nation, pre occupied with the Kartrashians, comparatively, Glazer's stories and adventures are Pulitzer Prize winning.

Glazer is O. Henry's Jimmy Valentine.

  38. Studs Terkel was a commie liberal whacko, but hell, this is the age of Obama, the "SECOND COMING"

(No shit, that is what TIME magazine has on the cover with his picture. No shit, serioulsy, look at it.)

, and as much as I hated Stud's politics, I loved the man.

" I'm not up on the Internet, but I hear that is a democratic possibility. People can connect with each other. I think people are ready for something, but there is no leadership to offer it to them. People are ready to say, 'Yes, we are part of a world.'

    And this--

"I've always felt, in all my books, that there's a deep decency in the American people and a native intelligence - providing they have the facts, providing they have the information."

Information, the veracity of which is no longer relevant, is ubiquitous.

The president of Oceania, sworn in today, heralded by the ethnomasochistic Roman Mob and the 'New Demographic" masses as our "Lord And Saviour" is the perfect President for a world of Hollywood dilettantes and, were he still alive, Mr. Terkel's despair.

Just my opinion, but liberals from the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, still alive, are now cellularly disgusted by this "new" Amerika.

If Hearne was heavily editing Graig's content as claimed, I can't wait to read it scribe vertite.

Have to confess, Bandits is one of my favorite off-the-wall movies.

  41. Herne and Glazer....two terrible people who should just be ignored.

  42. One KCC post a week from Glaze would do just fine. Heavily edited of course.
