Mayor James got on a bulldozer in a photo op to call attention to Kansas City's dilapidated houses, and he liked it so much he turned it against the people's right to have a city-wide vote on the city's streetcar plan, and the people's valid and competing light rail initiative.
Yesterday, we filed in court a request to have the Missouri Supreme Court rule as to whether the city can ignore the rules of its own Charter and obstruct a vote on a valid light rail initiative submitted to the city from the people.

The RECALL petition drive is coming to ask the people whether Mayor James and the entire city council have committed
misfeasance...improper performance... of office by:
1. Denying the people a city-wide vote on the city's streetcar system being implemented in Kansas City, and;
2. Ignoring the rules of the City Charter and obstructing a vote on a competing valid light rail initiative submitted to the city from the
people.
It's high time the people stand up to Mayor James's bulldozer!
