Another Missouri example that technology outpaces legislation:

"A report shows that as more people move from their landlines to wireless (cellular) service and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, the funding that the wire line surcharge provides to the 911 system is also decreasing, leaving 911 services without a source of revenue."

The factoid is kinda neat but sadly leads us closer to the coming day when politicos set their sights on taxing and limiting the growth of the Internets.
