$1 in spending cuts vs. $41 in tax increases==of course Rep. Cleaver would vote for it. Don't get too smug, 99%'s, they'll be coming after us next.
If I were rich, say one of the 1%, I'd take my fucking money and leave this country.
I *am* one of the 1% and leaving is harder than you think. They basically label you a criminal and haunt you for the rest of your days.
It would be a real public service if he would go over a real cliff.
He could take a bunch of Capitol Hill criminals with him and that would make a legacy he could be proud of.
Back on Pendergasts days they would just take a worthless piece of crap like Cleaver and appropriate $100 worth of concrete to remove him from the public eye.
