NO NUKES EFFORT STAYS LOSING WITH $10K FROM KANSAS CITY CIVIC COUNCIL!!!

A bit more Kansas City opposition against nuke proliferation than most had expected . . .

Kansas City's Civic Council has given $10,000 to a committee formed to fight a proposed anti-nuclear weapons proposal on the April ballot.

And suddenly, a Kansas City effort to get this town out of the nuke games looks a bit more futile.

Tony - How do you get:

"NO NUKES EFFORT STAYS WINNING WITH $10K FROM KANSAS CITY CIVIC COUNCIL!!!"

Out of this:

"Kansas City's Civic Council has given $10,000 to a committee formed to fight a proposed anti-nuclear weapons proposal on the April ballot.

The "Keep KC Jobs Committee" was formed last fall, after anti-nuclear activists finally placed a measure on the ballot that would prohibit Kansas City from financially supporting or subsidizing any future projects involving nuclear weapons.
"

Ummmm....How's That? said...

"And suddenly, a Kansas City effort to get this town out of the nuke games looks a bit more serious."

"Honeywell, which is moving into new space in south Kansas City where non-nuclear components for nuclear weapons are made, has already given $10,000 to the pro-nuke campaign, most of which went to Pat Gray's company."

"He'll be running the campaign against the proposal, which will be Question 3 on the April ballot."

"Rachel MacNair, organizer for supporters of Question 3, said "we're not pleased (with the donation from the business leaders) but we're not surprised."

"She said supporters have formed the "Committee for Better Use of Financial Incentives," which she said has raised $5,150."

How does the $10,000 not equal PRO NUCLEAR?

Yet Tony posts: "A bit more Kansas City support against nuke proliferation than most had expected . . ."[empases mine]

Hmmmm.....

That was almost pretty fast said...

Quick as a wink from a sloth, Tony edits and fixes the post.

Money paid to Pat Gray is money that will go down Pat's throat in the form of 100 proof liquor.

Doesn't matter, by 2016 the country will be totally disarmed.

If you believe that nukes are good for Kansas City then you have not seen the papers that document the disease caused by working with heavy metals that exists in K.C.
This is one election where everyone needs to get off of their behind and do some walking not talking. Kill the nukes once and it will be harder for them to rise from the ashes. Door to door with walk lists will win the election.
