MUST READ!!! KMBZ RADIO LEGEND BILL GRADY SELLS WEAPON AT THE CENTER OF CONTROVERSIAL GUN SHOW STORY!!!

In his own words and in great detail, KMBZ news dude Bill Grady concludes his controversial story by reporting the sale of the weapon he purchased from a unlicensed dealer: Gun at center of news piece gets sold

The story created a great deal of rage among 2nd Amendment despite the fact that gun trade that occurred was pretty typical, nobody got hurt and nothing illegal happened.

Still . . . Local gun advocates proved overly sensitive and a bit to eager to panic in this instance and a few other this weekend . . .

Five hurt in different gun show accidents across the country this weekend

  1. In year's past, Grady has sold firearms to unlicensed buyers as well.

Oh so is ok if he does it but lets make a big story out of it if someone else does it. Great asshole to want to follow here Tony and trust as you claim to.

  2. Well, Tony the govt wants me to give them mine. Maybe they could refurbish them to fully automatic and send them to Mexico.

  4. Idiots, who are too stupid to handle a firearm properly and safely, shouldn't be given access to them. Yes, control idiots, not guns...

  5. What Part OF "Shall Not Be Infringed" Do You Not Understand?1/21/13, 9:06 AM

How many auto accidents hurt people last weekend?

How many people injured themself with a hammer, screwdriver, saw or various power tools?

How many people injured themself by eating a bucket of greasy chicken for the third time in a week?

  6. "Ah, yes, the eeeee-vil gun-show loophole. Time for a reality check . . .

    1. There is no such animal as a gun show loophole
    2. Fewer than one percent of criminals obtain their guns at gun shows
    3. If there were such an animal, New York state closed it eleven years ago"

"Every law that applies outside gun shows applies inside the doors. Federal Firearms Licensees (a.k.a., gun dealers or FFLs) at a gun show must fill out their ATF Form 4473s and do their FBI background (NICS) checks just as if they were at their shops (or their homes for that matter).

The purported loophole that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand seeks to close: private firearms sales between private individuals. Not dealer to customer, or customer to dealer. Private citizen to private citizen. A transaction which does not require a Form 4473 or a NICS background check.

Another part of the loophole myth: a large percentage of people with tables at gun shows—somewhere between 25 and 50 percent—are unlicensed dealers and traders. They’re unlicensed because they aren’t selling guns. They sell ammo, accessories or books or memorabilia.

Expanding on Point 2, according to the ATF, 93% of criminals obtain their guns – wait for it – illegally! Yes that’s right, criminals don’t obey the law. Who’d-a thunk it?"

  8. He bought a gun leagally and sold it legally . I don't see what the point of the story is. Might as well write I went to the store and bought a loaf of bread.

  10. It's A Crisis, I Tell Ya!1/21/13, 2:51 PM

Grady buys a shovel, via some supposed loophole at a tool show. No background check was performed to see if he was a convicted grave robber or unlicensed gardener.

Grady sells the shovel to another person without the Federal kitten stompers being notified or giving their approval.

The Grady Center Against Freedom needs your donations now so we can stop the trafficing of tools in our cities!

  11. If Grady bought a gun and it was against the law for him to have it - then there is no need for more laws. There is need for more enforcement of existing laws.

If he sold his gun to a felon then he violated the law and, again, there is need for enforcement of the law that already exists.

Now if Grady had gone nuts and started shooting up the place how would a background check have stopped him?

A back ground check of a person legally entitled to own a gun will never prevent him from owning a gun.

What has got to happen is after all these freaking gun laws have been passed we need to hire ten thousand feds to enforce them. That is how ridiculous it has gotten. We have reached a point with gun legislation where we are so busy checking out potential owners that the crooks are just grabbing guns and going unchecked. Hence; Core Kansas City is whining about crooks with guns while screaming about honest folks owning them.
