What an interesting story! It sounds innocent enough but I do feel for the donor and his family. He shouldn't have to pay child support. If that were the case, then people who adopt kids out to be recv'g child support from the parents who gave them up. The real issue seems to be the same sex partner arrangement. That is a legal question that may go all the way to the US Supreme Court.
Just stop the same sex thing and the problem is solved.
