Court House News Service brings us up to date on the local fight over guns: "Kansas' Libertarian Party sued the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan., in Wyandotte County Court . . . It claims the law (banning the open carrying of firearms) violates the 2nd Amendment and the Kansas Constitution. It also claims the law would create a hodge-podge of local regulations that will make compliance in the Kansas City area impossible."
