Duiguild's mandatory tie in of Martin Luther King and Civil Rigts in conjunction with the call for restrictions on Constitutional guarantees is the feel good patina of a deception and a conceit all Liberals utilize to control those who don't agree with their most current cause in the 24/7 news cycle.
The obvious irony, certainly lost on apparatchiks like Duiguid, is the Civil Rights "Sacred Black Experience", the laws, the intitiatives, the social engineering efforts culminated in an African American sub culture of entitlement, ignorance and hate that is the EXACT cause of the lion's share of gun violence in this country by 15 % of it's population.
Duiguid would have Liberal Lemmings believe that controling law abiding citizens rights to arm themselves against the beneficiaries of Civil Rights initiatives would have "saved the children".
This usefull conceit is political and by design.
Power is the goal, built this time on the dead bodies of children.
