ReplyDeleteI'm not an Ed Shultz fan, as I do think he's a cranky bastard, but he's not on the level with Faux News. They just plain make shit up before they get all angry and cranky about it. Studies show that people who watch NO news are actually LESS misinformed than Faux News viewers.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Kansan and hate Sam Brownback. The people of this state have no idea whom they vote for. They simply look and see who has an "R" after their name and vote for them. All these tax cuts are laughable cosidering the premise he puts out there that it will attract business like Texas does. It will not. You watch, he's going to bring up the evolution debate again. You think companies from other places want to relocate hear when all they hear is what a bunch of flat-Earth far-right wingers live here? I so wish you were required to take a test before you're allowed to vote. First question would be "Did Iraq have anything to do with 9/11?" If you answer "yes" you aren't allowed to vote. That would eliminate 75% of the ignorant mothefuckers in this state. It's amazing how many educated people I know who do not know factual, documented political facts. They just believe any dumb ass thing they get told or forwarded in an email. And they'll be too dumb to figure out that the mortgage interest elimination is simply a raise in taxes. Yet Brownback is the "anti-tax" governor. They all have school age kids or grandkids and apparently couldn't care less that the schools will go to shit. Check out how notoriously shitty Texas schools are some time.
ReplyDeleteWe live in JoCo and the schools our kids attend are not all white middle class kids. This is a stereotype about JoCo that needs to die. It is as destructive as any other false stereotype. Come visit if you don't believe me.
