Down The Byline KC Soccer Blog Claims Kansas City Will Host The MLS All-Star Game

Money quote and a bit of hopeful supporting evidence . . .

"Once again it looks like Ticketmaster has let an announcement out of the bag early that the MLS All Star game is coming to Kansas City this year.

"Last year it was rumored that Kansas City was a finalist for the All-Star Game, but lost out to Philadelphia. This year though it appears that Kansas City will be hosting the event. This will be the second straight year that KC would host a summer all star game after the city hosted last year's MLB All-Star Game."

Now, to be fair, I wouldn't trust Ticketmaster to make a sandwich . . . However, a technical glitch revealing news seems about right for a sport with few high-paid players that gets by on fan obsession with far more accessible stars.
