While the KCPS might not dominate the session . . . There are still some hard feelings and there are plenty of ways Kiki can screw with the KCPS without a Missouri Takeover.
And while most might think of more local oversight as a good thing . . . Just wait until some local favorites make an appearance on the suggestion list.

Has this over sized daay's basement dweller, (oops, with all do respect...) nitwit bothered to contact the Minority Leader in the Senate regarding her "surprise" bill that she plans to spring on the floor? Jolie Justis is too smart to let dimwitted Kiki pull a super slow one. Jason Holsman will not help her if he wants to keep faith with the voters in his district. Judy Morgan has no love for Kiki after Kiki F-ed her over in the election. In the lower house Brandon Ellington is laughing his ass off.
Just how much water is this Miss Kiki supposed to carry for Rev Tindall, Gayle Holiday and the Brothers Adams? (Oh, excuse me, I suppose Gwen Grant is sort of female... Bless her heart)
As it stands now among the plotters of this ill willed plan, Gwen Grant could receive a (PAID?) position on the Committee set up after Miss KooKooKiki brazenly snatches the School district from the jaws of mediocrity to her paws of total stupidity.
Miss Kiki should get off her behind and co-write legislation that would throw out the Teach For America 'warm bodies' that are in the district buildings. Now that is a train wreck.
God help the children as the folks purportedly helping are doing a bang up job of screwing them over.

ReplyDeleteI don't even understand what this story is about. There is nobody advocating that the KCPS board should remain in charge of the district. The bill had perhaps 1-2 votes against it. The bill was held hostage by the Republicans that decided to overhaul teacher evaluations and teacher tenure for the whole state.
ReplyDeleteInstead of allowing the KC take-over bill come to a vote, the Republicans let it die.
Whether you were for teacher tenure or not, the bill put forward was an utter mess and had no business being passed.
Urban Scummit trying to get hold of the children is just as bad as KCPS remaining in existence. These kids can't win for losing. I'll home school before I'll let my children attend school anywhere near the Kansas City, Missouri School District.
