TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! CRITICS WARN OF FUTURE KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR COLLISIONS!!!

Like it or not, the Kansas City Toy Train Street Car conspiracy is right on track this week.
Results from the rigged "election" are soon to be counted and a mere handful of voters will railroad this town into paying more than a hundred million for a glorified eco-devo scheme that doesn't represent anything close to mass transit.
However . . .
THIS MORNING TKC TIPSTERS WARN OF ALL THE KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR COLLISIONS WE CAN EXPECT IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!

Given that we don't even have stop signs in some parts of town . . . This warning of an impending traffic hot mess is rather serious.
Even worse . . .

ReplyDeleteThe overuse of the nuclear weapon pic is just like crying wolf. It's old now and dated. So bad, that nobody pays much attention anymore...
ReplyDeleteAnd yet you're here in the morning. Shut douche and scroll down for bewbs.
ReplyDeleteBEWB!!!
"INSERT NUKE PIC"
AND MORE BEWB!
Can you imagine the shit storm that the "transit" community will have if a street car ever hits a bicyclist?
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of like worlds colliding.
GET OUT OF THE WAY YOU TWO WHEELED PUSSY!!!!!!`
ReplyDeleteProfessional or amateur critics?
ReplyDeleteProofread!
ReplyDeleteboth!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Sly needs to hire more consultants for a safety study before he goes off half cocked yet again.
ReplyDeleteGood thing cars never get in collisions...
ReplyDeleteMaybe we shoud be more taxpayer subsidized roads in the suburbs that next-to-nobody uses.
Who is at fault in those collisions?
ReplyDeletecars run into cars. ban cars!
ReplyDeleteStupid bicycle people. The tracks are there for everyone to see. They are known to be slick and unsafe to ride on. And they have been in the same place for decades.
ReplyDelete*** THEREFORE ***
Bicyclists ride on them. Bicyclists fall down in front of operating street cars. Bicyclists get hurt.
*** THEREFORE ***
The streetcar must be at fault.
DOH!
Get a clue bicycle boys.
While streetcars are slow, they are also massive, so they cannot stop quickly. Nor can they swerve since they are on tracks. Just think of the times someone changed lanes or opened a car door in front of you, causing you to to have to swerve a bit. So in the end, if you move over a bit to give room to another and then a streetcar hits you because you were in its lane, it is still an accident that probably could have been avoided by a bus or another car.
ReplyDeleteJust another reason KC will face huge liability because of street cars. First cyclist to get hit will make a fortune if he survives.
ReplyDeleteWow! Both bicycles AND streetcars?
ReplyDeleteAre we Portland, yet?
Our "native" population is too high for Kansas City to ever be Portland.
ReplyDeleteThe number of issues relating to the KC RR that HAVE NOT even been thought through is staggering. And this blog finds one of them and thinks it news. The number of sub-grade infrastructure and utility issues that have not even been considered will bust any budget and schedule three-fold.
ReplyDeleteIf there was a provision in this special district vote that those 900 voters had to cover budget busts and operating losses, I'm pretty sure this deal would not have a chance in hell.
Of course, that is exactly why the Mayor and Council designed the vote in this way.
