This year's log of homicides in Kansas City shows more than 80 percent of the victims died from a gunshot wound, just like Aydan.
However, as of Wednesday, this 4-year-old’s case had not received any tips from the public.
And so . . .
IT SEEMS THAT SILENCE IN THE FACE OF LOCAL HOMICIDE IS FAR MORE DEADLY THAN ASSAULT RIFLES AND RANDOM GUNFIRE IN KANSAS CITY!!!
Sadly, it's far easier to take away guns than make people speak up against murder in this town.

There's a myth that this problem only resides in the urban core . . .

Only on this blog does anyone care if a shooter is black or white, or the victim is black or white. Why is this? It must be because of your history. The only place where I routinely see blacks referred to as animals, besides this blog, are historical documents from the later nineteenth century. Do you think that Native Americans blame the blacks for what happened to them? Do you think that they blame blacks of all of society's ills?
