TAKE A LOOK AT THESE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HICKMAN MILLS SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH THAT IS ALLEGEDLY OPERATING IN SECRET!!!

"The Hickman Mills school district is allegedly conducting Superintendent interviews on Monday, November 5th. I say allegedly because it's not up on Electronic School Board for the public to see and no notice of the interview was ever announced in any public meeting. This will be a closed session, private meeting.
"This whole search has been strange from start to finish. Breman Anderson and the board promised that the public would be involved. Yet not once was the public asked its opinion on what it wants or needs from the next Superintendent of our district. And now they're wrapping it up with a secret meeting (when it's pretty standard in academia for high level candidates to interview in entirely open meetings). I guess they'll just planning to yell "surprise! Here's your new Superintendent! Live with it!"
"Why does Breman feel he needs to hide this whole process from the public? Or more importantly, what, specifically, does he have to hide? Rumor is...a lot.
"I know I'd like answers."

Hickman Mills is in the toilet and circling the drain. No one wants to be seen giving it the final flush.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the first question to ask is why the board disregarded its own policy of bidding when supplies, equipment, or service exceed $5,00. One might ask about the qualifications of the search team and why it was chosen.
