TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! A STATISTICAL LOOK AT RECENT AND RAMPANT KANSAS CITY CRIME!!!

This morning, let's start out with a a bit of KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER reaction to the uptick in Kansas City crime.

Here's the money quote:

"With crime reaching epidemic proportions in KCMO, maybe we need fewer streetcars and a lot more policemen. I count four pages + in this report of stealing from autos."

With restricted personal data . . . Here's some info to back up the claim . . .

CHECK THIS RECENT CRIME REPORT FROM KCPD'S CENTRAL PATROL DIVISION REGARDING AN UPTICK IN THEFTS FROM CARS IN MIDTOWN KANSAS CITY!!!

Simply looking through the report seems to remind us that Mayor and City Council have been remiss in putting public safety on the back burner and proceeding with an agenda mostly centered around development and higher taxes.

Meanwhile . . . Kansas City's homicide count is higher than it was at this time last year and "hot spots" have seemingly spread to other parts of the city.

Hopefully, we'll have more on this trend in a few moments . . .

DEVELOPING . . .

Again, look for the end of year totals TKC. That's where you'll see the real difference.

I blame the rats!

You are correct. It is the rats. But you keep putting them in office.

If everybody rides the train, they won't need cars.

Those missing stop lights piss me off too.

Jesus, ya gotta stop every 100 yards on 63rd st.

I guess, that will spur the urban economy though. More opportunities for car jackings.

TKC why don't you run for Mayor and tell us all what to do?

Streetcar rides can be fun, but I would rather stop having to pay for replacing car windows.

This town's Mayor is horrible. When are the thugs going to take aim at the right people?

Why don't we try holding people accountable for their campaign promises?

I might work.

kcpd does not care about your car break in reports. They often have more important things to worry about. just look at some of the headlines above this article.

best option: move.

I did, no regrets. Save $1000 E-tax, $1000 on car insurance each year, no traffic tickets, no home burglaries and my license sticker lasts the entire year.

And there are fools in city hall who think a toy train will make Kansas City Portland. The thugs will like the toy train because it will be easier to rob the stupid white people who ride it. Kansas City will never be Portland but it will be Detroit.

Tear down midtown and put up a police campus. How hard is this?

For many years, the KCMO police department has not even responded to car break ins. You can walk in the station to file a report. That is why we live in JoCo. At least the police come out and pretend they care.
