Earlier this year MD Rabbi Alam was BLOWN OUT of the Missouri Secretary Of State Campaign for a lot of reasons but also because of some stupid comments he made regarding 9/11 made the national spotlight.

See, the sad thing here is that Mr. Alam had recently done a nice job in forming a decent South Kansas City coalition of minority voters and seemed to be building a decent rep as a community activist. Mr. Alam has earned a great deal of coverage after the shooting death of his friend Tony Singh and subsequent legislative attempts that sought to provide more security for convenience store workers - A lofty but worthwhile goal.
Of course, the national GOP brand media jumped all over the fact that Mr. Alam had made a White House visit and has "connections" to a few prominent local Democrats. Following the national coverage of some shockingly stupid statements . . . MD Alam's political career was pretty much over and his promises to run for Senate were greeted with polite silence.
But now . . . In yet another shocking example which proves once again that people don't really change . . .

The tweet is linked from one of Mr. Alam's campaign websites and the same dumb sentiment is echoed on his Facebook account.
And so . . . After a bit of national embarrassment what we have learned is that MD Alam still hasn't learned his lesson and South KC's political scene is all the worse for it . . . If that's even possible.

According to your article you are suggesting for me to stay away from 9/11.Why can’t I have an opinion on 9/11 or to even ask questions. I will always stick to my convictions unlike so many politicians after the grass roots movement and creation of the tea party movement in 2009 that caused all the Republicans to no longer admit to climate change and we as humans being the main cause. Am I not allowed to forward a petition requesting our Government to reopen the investigation. Earlier this year during my campaign for Secretary of State I was misquoted in the media and labeled as anti-Semitic. On February 19’ 2009, I participated in an Online Forum Discussion which is called Topix Kansas City and the discussion titled was “Was 9/11 a conspiracy??”. As an American concerned about the truth and as a Muslim I am affected by the lack of all the information being released from our Government. So I asked a few questions to clarify something’s from an Online YouTube Video called “Loose Change”. So I have a question for you Tony. Is the reason I am not allowed to question 9/11 because I am not a natural born citizen or because I am a Muslim?
I am a Veteran of the Iraq war, I have proudly served this country and I am ready to serve the people again as their Senator. I believe in a transparent Government and a Government that is for truth and justice for its people. As a concerned citizen and as a war veteran I have the right to have all the information concerning that horrible day. America was victimized that day and people either forget or don’t know that there are 7 million Muslims in America that are victims also. But we are being made out to be villains even 11 years later. There are too many slanderous and liable statements being made about Muslims and our religion Islam because of that day. The proof of the importance for the need for the things we will be marching for are proven in your blogs posted by your readers after your article on me and the fact that because I as a Muslim cannot question, forward a petitions, or even say the word 9/11 without being labeled Anti Semitic. I don’t know who is responsible for the events of that day but what I do know is that there is plenty of facts out there from investigators from that day that show a different story then the one that is spoon fed to Americans by Politicians on an hourly bases via every media outlet. So even though my announcement of running for Senate 2016 was met with “polite silence” my acceptance speech as United State Senator will be met with loud applause.
