My guess is that the corporatist tool gets another four years. But I think 68% is reaching. I'll call it 62%.

It's because we need to do away with the electoral college and go to popular vote. With the exception of about five states, your vote and mine don't mean shit. They count for absolutely nothing. In Kansas it's only important to vote for local and state offices. And pay attention this year people. The nutjobs are trying to take over the school board again.
What's to vote about? We all know Romney is going to carry Kansas. Nobody even polls us because we vote Republican. Our Rep in the 3rd District doen't even have Dem opposition (you can always vote Libertarian, I guess.
There is no governor contest this year, and neither are there Senate races. The downticket Republican candidates are all going to win, despite Steve Rose's efforts to gets some of the Dems elected.
My hubby and I have advance voted, but when I urged our 30 year old son to vote, his questions was "Why?" I dont have a good answer.

Low voter turn out statistically results in Republican success. Higher voter turn out results in wankers like Obama. Damn, you just can not win.
