KANSAS CITY OF RATS!!!

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that the Downtown Toy Train isn't gonna fix this . . .
First up . . . Ferruzza for The Pitch put this topic on blast:
Seen a big rodent lately? You aren't alone
It's an important story that might require a solution beyond one of Mayor Sly's smiling press conferences . . . Sadly, this town's political and corporate class are far more concerned about toy trains than problems related to public safety and or health.
Fox4 has some interesting followup . . .
Aw, Rats! They’re Everywhere in Kansas City!
Of course the Water Dept. doesn't think this is a big problem according to local newsies . . . But, be advised, that rodents are ramping up their activity in Kansas City and even a walk around one of our "majestic parks and boulevards" will reveals as much.

They're migrating from SANDY
I run DT almost every morning and I have never seen a rat. I am doubting the rampancy of these varmints.
I remember when there was an infestation in the planters outside Bella Napoli in Brookside. Creepy
Are we talkin white lab rats or the urbanis negrito ratus version.
I love Charles, but I think he should stick to restaurant reviews. I live in the 'hood, am often out early in the morning, and have never seen a rat. Could Charles have seen a possum and mistaken it for a big rat?
There isn't a rat problem.
If you're worried, adopt a cat, preferably a mean one.
No, rats eat cats for breakfast. You need a dog to control rats. terriers are great varmint controllers - they've been bred for centuries to kill rats, esp. Jack Russells and rat terriers.
The problem is not the rats but the coons.
