CHIEFS LOSE AGAIN!!! AFTER 17-9 LOSS TO DENVER BRONCOS KANSAS CITY'S PATHETIC FOOTBALL FRANCHISE FALLS TO 1-10!!!

Once again the Kansas City Chiefs disappoint fans with a pathetic display of penalties, bad play calling and just an all around lack of talent in a losing effort.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in an ugly 17-9 game what wasn't as competitive as fans would like to think.  

To wit . . .

THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS COULD BE ONE OF THE WORST COLLECTION OF PLAYERS, COACHES AND FRONT OFFICE STAFF THIS TOWN HAS SEEN IN TWO DECADES!!!

And really, considering the really mediocre teams Kansas City has hosted . . . That's quite an accomplishment.

The game ended on an interception which seems appropriate . . . It's clear Kansas City really doesn't have a quarterback.

At the end of the 4th quarter the sound system played "Don't Stop Believing" by 80s ballad rock band Journey which is also fitting considering that the song is age appropriate for a fan base comprised of suburbanites also desperate to hold on to their glory days.

At this point in the season The Chiefs are usually content to play the spoilers - But even that requires a modicum of effort. Sadly, there isn't even a glimmer of hope for next season. The last remaining games are worse than a lost cause and football fans hoping for good draft position sound more like hobbyists who are deliberately shutting out the real world. NFL pundits and newsies highlighting the somewhat better play of the Chiefs today are really only doing as much in order to tout Peyton Manning - But kudos thrown like a bone to the losers at Arrowhead is really more of a marketing gesture and doesn't really represent any real competition.

And so . . . This town finishes out one of the worst football seasons in years that has failed to live up to expectations and corporate marketing hype like just about everything else in Kansas City.
