CHIEFS LOSE 13-31 TO THE CHARGERS!!! CELEBRATE!!! KANSAS CITY IS HOME TO THE WORST TEAM IN NFL FOOTBALL!!!
Once again turnovers and just a basic lack of talent, determination and maybe self-respect led to an embarrassing Kansas City Chiefs blowout defeat.
Here's a TV Announcer fun fact that puts KC Football in perspective: The last quarterback drafted by the Chiefs to win a game was Todd Blackledge sometime in the 1980s.
The pathetic play isn't even worth documenting . . . But, as TKC mentioned previously, Matt Cassel never was an NFL caliber starting quarterback and tonight he proved it once again. There is no quarterback controversy, only a collection of the most pathetic players and management the Chiefs have amassed in more than a generation.
Chiefs now fall to 1-7.
Also . . .
This might have been the saddest football game in all of the NFL not only because of the level of play but also considering the fact that Kansas City mainstream media didn't even want the contest to take away from prime time ad revenue so they put it on a second tier station AND THEN the national networks sent their B-Team to cover the game.
Without question . . .
THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS ARE THE WORST FRANCHISE IN THE NFL AND SCOTT PIOLI'S PLAN TO TURN THE TEAM AROUND HAS MET WITH ABSOLUTE FAIL!!!
Things are so bad that Kansas City sports fans (some of the most naive people on the planet) are now starting to show their frustration and turn away from the team.
In fact, all of Kansas City is basically walking away from this disaster.
Credit to sports newsies who can come up with just the right amount of hyperbole and feigned outrage to articulate the ineptitude of The Kansas City Chiefs organization.
Meanwhile, longtime residents realize that this farce of a football team gave up on winning more than a generation ago and it's only now that a few more Kansas City football fans realize their support has been wasted on a lackluster organization only concerned with their bottom line.

A losing team for a losing city!
People who buy tickets to the chiefs after all of these rebuilding seasons are just not very smart. Do the people of this city a favor next year and donate that money instead to a worthy charity rather than giving it to the hunt family and mediocre players. No football in kc would be better than having this embarrassment as along with the royals we have become the national sports joke. I used my Royals credit card ( got a free gift for applying) once out of town and the guy looked at it and said "man, royals fan, that's loyalty". He'll, you can't even get heckled by opposing fans anymore if you go to an away game, people feel sorry for you and leave you alone with your sports misery. That's what KC has become.
