Kansas City's media scene is home to a great many talented and brilliant women working to keep the public informed . . . And I'm not just noting as much because a great many of them think TKC is misogynist scum or have been scared into thinking even worse about your favorite blogger and fearless leader thanks to Mary Sanchez.
Anyhoo . . . Occasionally, I'm forced to leave my (mom's) basement to supplement my caffeine addiction when my industrial supply of Dr. Pepper runs out. Recently, I was skulking around The Filling Station and because I have a genetic disorder that predisposes me toward noticing blondes . . . I glanced at two of Kansas City's most gifted media professionals. So, of course I had to bother them.
Michele Rooney is Congressman Cleaver's communications director and she'll soon be MC-ing the upcoming Dancing with The KC Stars. Leslie Collins is the managing editor of The Northeast News.
They're both doing EXCELLENT work for Kansas City and were nice enough to pose for a quick pic so you d-bags should be nice.

Nevertheless, I don't censor people on this blog because there's nowhere to draw the line.
You can write something better and people will pay attention to that instead. That's the way it usually works, give people an alternative to garbage and they make the right choice. Sorry but censorship on open comments doesn't work. Next time I'll probably just close the comments on a photo like this one that I really like.
