Not quite Kansas City related but this clip is probably the most poignant thing I've seen all week and kind of serves as a postscript to the foreign policy Presidential Debate or a prelude to the U.S. war with Iran . . . Whichever you prefer.

And there is a local angle after all . . . That's recently deceased Branson, Missouri crooner Andy Williams singing the title track popularized by the 1960 movie Exodus . . . And I was just thinking there's a lot of applied politics and unfair juxtaposition in this clip that I don't necessarily agree with . . . But all of that is trumped by my penchant for cartoons and overly simplistic (sometimes fatalistic) points of view.

We are now a net exporter of oil, and, it is expected that we will be the largest producer of oil in the world in 10 years.
Should probably bring all 15 million Jews over and settle them in Detroit. All the jobs created will give African Americans work in retail and generate some actual prosperity in the most dangerous city in the US.
As an added benefit, the influx of Jews will piss of the militant Islamic pukes in Detroit (Always a plus. Fuck Dearbornistan.).
