TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY'S JASON KANDER SOLDIERS ON DESPITE BAD POLLING DATA!!!

The upcoming election season has presented Kansas City's Jason Kander with the most daunting challenge he has faced in his political career.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY DEMOCRAT INSIDERS HAVE TOLD US OF POLLS THAT SHOW JASON KANDER DOWN BY A SIGNIFICANT MARGIN IN HIS MISSOURI SECRETARY OF STATE RACE!!!

More . . .

SOME POLLS HAVE MO HOUSE REP. KANDER DOWN BY ANYWHERE FROM ABOUT 7 TO AS MUCH AS 10 POINTS AGAINST SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI SPEAKER PRO TEM SHANE SCHOELLER!!!

Apparently, a military record of service and an impressive list of achievements by any standard aren't enough to convince Missouri Republicans who can't see across party lines.

And so . . .

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS HAVE REVEALED THE KANDER CAMPAIGN DOING THEIR BEST TO SPIN RECENT POLLING DATA AND CONTINUE TO ASK FOR CASH TO FUND THEIR EFFORTS!!!

Rep. Kander has won the fundraising battle and has taken in more than a million bucks. Still that doesn't seem to be enough to convince rural Missouri voters and STL - Who seems to be be going with Rep. Schoeller.

Take a look . . .

OUR POLLING

Our supporters are always asking if we’ve polled our race and what the polls say.

We have indeed conducted a poll, and this race is close. And, I mean close.

It also spells out a clear path to victory for us, but only if we continue to meet our fundraising goals over the next 43 days and continue to get Jason’s message of running a nonpartisan office that is fair to all Missourians out to undecided voters.

About a week and a half ago we did a commercial shoot, filming the advertisements that we’ll put on air. It’s absolutely critical that we purchase as much television time as possible so we can air these ads across the state.

This Saturday is our final quarterly fundraising deadline. I know you’re receiving emails from a lot of campaigns right now and I know it’s tough deciding where to donate.

But, I want you to know this: every single dime that we raise this week will go toward purchasing airtime, ensuring that Jason’s message is seen by voters across Missouri. And we know that when that happens, we’ll win.

I know we’ve asked a lot, but if you can give $10 or whatever you can right now, I’m confident voters will respond favorably to our message.

43 days to go.

OUR POLLING (UPDATE)

I just got off a conference call with our media consultants. Our ad is in the final stages of editing.

We’ll all get to see it soon!

What I wanted to let you know though is that we’re close to being able to expand how much airtime we can purchase in a couple key media markets.

Will you pitch in $10 today and help us make this possibility a reality?

Jason is committed to staying on the road and talking to every voter he can meet. But, he’s not going to be able to talk with every voter in person. This ad will help deliver his message.

Please chip in $10 today.

Thanks!

  1. It's still early, we'll know more by mid-October. Don't get ahead of yourself TKC.

  2. The election results are going to be much worse for Kander than the polls. Bad year to run statewide as a Democrat and all the ads, consultants, and hand-shaking aren't going to help a bit.
Back to KCMO city hall to park in a cushy job with Sly until the next chance opens up.
Or he could try to get a real job and not stay on the public dime!

  3. Pride goeth before a fall. And Jason has plenty of that to go around, along with a wife who reeks of self-importance who has a similar resume of doing nothing of substance. And when he loses this race, those "next chances" become much more scarce.

    ReplyDelete
  4. What are his views on unsolicited bulk e-mail?

    ReplyDelete
  5. What are his views on being a partial owner of the Westport Bar, Firefly, and allegations of selling to minors and evading liquor licensing laws?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Republicans value their twisted religious party over patriotism obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  7. @8:05 - Nobody is buying that bullshit story you're selling and the facts just add up. Kanders haven't owned that bar in years and their liquor license problems just started. You're getting ready to get burned on that story if you use it. It's just a back ground smear tactic that will ruin your credibility even further if you try to sell it. So please, by all means keep pushing it because you just look more desperate and out of the loop.

  8. Can't win with just KC and St. Louis Tony. You should know that by now.

  9. more political commercials. just what we need.

    ReplyDelete
  10. He lost me when he claimed the non partisan nature of the office. SOS is the most partisan of partisan races. It decides what is and isn't worth prosecuting as election fraud.

    ReplyDelete
  11. He is down 10 points and wants more cash? All the money in the world can't help this campaign. Good fundraising, VERY bad campaign management.

  12. Another Midtown Mom10/1/12, 9:22 PM

Jason is a wonderful and capable young man. He's got my vote but I wouldn't count on the rest of Missouri.

  13. Enough with the Children's Crusade10/1/12, 10:09 PM

Maybe he should have done something with his life before he ran for office?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Kander's military service record must be stored in the same vault as Mitt Romney's tax returns?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Might help his chances if he'd show up in a suit that fit.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jason has been a Con-Man who charms the aged rich in South KC by pretending to listen to them and be such a good boy. There has never been any substance behind the pitch.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Let me get this straight. He raised un-Godly amounts of money to scare any Democrat out of the primary, but no one has seen a commercial or received a mailing in the General other than to ask for more money?

You lose this and your career in politics is over kid.

    ReplyDelete
  18. He sold us out by handing a bill over to Charlie Shields and the Senate Republicans to that got passed through unconstitutional means, which ended up favoring rich givers and corporate contributors who give overwhelmingly to Republicans. Still, he wants us to believe he is responsible for "ethics reform?"

    10/1/12 8:28 PM

Who are you to have that information? Also, it is my understanding that Jason's financial disclosure report does not reflect the sale of the bar? What say you, expert?

    ReplyDelete
  20. ^ that is straight up KC democrat shit right there but hate to say that's what a lot of people think.

  22. Question for 10/1/12 8:25 PM10/1/12, 10:26 PM

Why did Jason decide not to run against the Republicans?

I agree that they are that bad, but why not make the case rather than just saying "me too?"

    ReplyDelete
  23. 10/1/12 10:24 PM You never heard any of this until Jason decided to give The US Constitution, working families and the Democratic Party the sharp stick in the eye by supporting voter suppression. You fuck your friends and suddenly the KY comes back at you from behind.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @10:21 - now we know u don't know shit about what you're writing. Worse than fucking TKC. Jesus, there isn't gonna be a bar sale on a campaign finance disclosure. That's an income tax issue and I am guessing Kanders probably took a loss on that Firefly dump in order to get out of it. Really, we want u to go public with that story so you can get smacked down even worse. It would be a pleasure taking you apart piece by piece and by name. Come out of your hole so we can take your fucking head clean off. Politically, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sheeple remember, its not what they say they will do, its what they will do once they are elected..this guy politician, that girl politician, if you listen to spin you will never win...dig deep into their backgrounds before you vote if you ever want change in this town!

    ReplyDelete
  26. If Kander keeps attacking the Democratic base when trying to appeal to the unwashed red-neck it is probably time to take him off of all the GOTV mailings and save the money to challenge Shane's rulings in Court.

Jason, I can assure you that Shane sees the Secretary of State's office as a partisan organ. You really are a liar or you really are too young to know up from down.

    ReplyDelete
  27. 10/1/12 10:31 PM Who said "campaign finance disclosure" you dumb as shit Kool Aid drinker? "Jason's financial disclosure report" not the campaign you ignorant piss ant.

The suits look great to me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Not to worry. I voted for you today, Mr. Kander. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kander used his sharp financial elbows to keep qualified Democrats off the ballot. The young man had better win this thing or there is no coming back politically.

Has he done anything to increase voter turnout in the areas that actually know him? Has he done a Goddamn thing for the Democratic ticket in that way, which would only improve his chances of winning?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I do know Michael Jackson liked to shop at Penney's, especially when they had little boy's pants half off. Let's ask what music Jason has on his IPod before we judge him and his fondness for ill-fitting haberdashery.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The only chance that Kander has to make up that kind of deficit is for huge turnout patterns in the cities, AND making sure that those urban voters vote all the way down the ballot to the SOS line. Kander has spent everyday for the last year pissing on the cities. Since the day after the primary, he has been shitting on the cities. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Jason give me a call and I will tell you what its like after the voters deal with arrogance. I do not wake up at night much anymore, and the Depends help.

    ReplyDelete
  35. No average dem voter has a clue about SOS. So, Kander loses both by dem ignorance, stupidity and apathy. Simple as that - Repubs are smarter and better organized.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Repubs do not sell out their own. They are even lining up in front of crazy as ape-shit Akin and bending over.

Only "moderate" Dems like Kander sell out their own because they do not believe in anything but their own ambition.

    ReplyDelete
  37. 11:22 - the best post of the night. He wants the job for himself, not to further Democratic ideals.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Unfortunately, that's every politician.
I don't believe those polling numbers. It's not going to be another 2010...no matter how much the Republicans want it to be.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The Most Interesting Democrat in the World10/2/12, 7:00 AM

It will not be a 2010, but the difference will be more Democrats and this little twerp Kander is pandering to Republicans. I agree, if you lose this one Jason do not come back because we are done with you.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Jeremy LaFever and Will Royster are the future of Kansas City's Democratic Party. Mark my words. These guys are bright shining stars.

    ReplyDelete
  41. LaFever could kick Kander's ass.
