Yes, she'd have to move inside city limits but there's time for that and it's not much of a sacrifice for the sake of bringing back "girl power" to City Council chambers.
Behind the scenes, we hear Legislator Garza Ruiz is just glad to hear that her political ambitions are once again the subject of local discussion.
The move makes sense and might involve a bit of a swap with our Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Ciro. Still . . . Garza Ruiz could move anywhere in Kansas City . . . But probably won't choose the Westside.
Sadly, the only thing that's obvious in the game of musical chairs that is Kansas City politics is that there are a lot people wondering where Theresa Garza Ruiz will chose to settle down . . . And now that talk has STRONGLY SIGNALED a move across the street to City Hall.
