LIKE IT OR NOT, TKC THINKS THIS IS REALLY A REFERENDUM ON KANSAS CITY'S POLITICAL PLACE IN MISSOURI!!!
I'm backing up this statement given that MO House Rep. Jason Kander is Kansas City's most beloved elected official and has the support of just about everybody in this cowtown.

It is a referendum on whether an ambitious kid who ran a stupid campaign can even place third in a two way race.
Does that council member endorse him?
Which one -- do you mean former council member?
My father and two of his brothers fought in WWII. I would not vote for someone who leveraged military service as a political election tool.
Kander doesn't realize that not everybody approves of his campaign tactics.
Jason is an arrogant little shit. He will lose, and Missouri will suffer because of his putting his arrogance ahead of the Democrats need to put up a viable alternative to a right wing nut -- a candidate willing to call out the conservatives and not just echo them.
I have said it before: If Jason loses this election that he pushed his way into, then Jason's career is over. And that is a good thing.
There IS another candidate, of course no one in the media will talk about it. I will be voting for Cisse Spragins. I'm tired of choosing between two people who make their living off of We The People.

Kander is an amateur. Overly ambitious considering his weak experience.
