The Star Editorial Board regurgitates campaign material and does what everyone expected in order not to surprise their dwindling and rapidly aging subscriber base.
Here's the Star's run-of-the-mill reasoning . . .
"We recommend re-electing Claire McCaskill, a smart, moderate straight-shooter."
TKC never tells people how to vote and I only offer my endorsements because I have a strong feeling on a particular subject . . . Still, this endorsement seems to be nothing more than the bland leading the bland.
Missouri's Senate Race has been one of those most decisive and heated elections in the nation and when the Kansas City Star weighs in they attempt to play it safe while pretending to stay in the middle.
For the last remaining people who vote in this nation . . . The middle isn't good enough and this country seems to be coming toward a crossroads as to what ideals define modern life while newsies at The Star seem only to be writing for each other.
If only she was a Democrat.
