For any resident of KCMO who thinks they'll escape paying for this fiasco,you certainly haven't been payingmuch attention to the old switcheroo way things work at 12th and Oak.
This will cost many millions to operate and maintain and most of that money will be coming out of the general fund.
You know, the one that pays for cops, streets, and all the rest.

Legal challenges could have -- but didn't -- appear while the petition to form the TDD was actually in court, before a real sitting judge.
Some of us tried to raise legal challenges but these things cost a fortune. Hopefully, after it passes, the big guys with the money who will be paying the highest taxes will file the legal challenges.
