PRE-GAME KANSAS CITY CHIEFS LOOK

The Kansas City Chiefs are two-point favorites today . . . But what's more interesting is that this town has already abandoned "Red Friday" and frustration with the team is at an all time high. Things are so bad that a win today might not make things right and a loss could mean some serious disillusionment.
A few links on the subject . . .
ESPN money quote: "Pioli has become such a laughingstock in Kansas City that the biggest story in town is whether Chiefs owner Clark Hunt actually has extended his general manager's contract."
Kansas City Chiefs have talent on paper, but that doesn't add up to wins
Frustrated Chiefs Fans Record Song . . . Spoiler alert, it's mostly whining

Pioli and Hunt's latest efforts at public relations are kinda like passing out customer satisfaction surveys to the people in Titanic's lifeboats.
The Chiefs can't play football and the Royals can't play baseball. Here's an idea. Let the Royals players try their hand at football and the chiefs players try their luck at baseball. If they still suck, level both stadiums and put up a nine hole par 3 golf course.
GO COWBOYS!!!
Would tailgating be allowed at this so called golf course? If no tailgating I rather would have to believe it would fail as do the two sports teams out there.
Clark Hunt seriously needs to get his proactive britches nob an clean up this mess called the Chiefs before the fans really turn against the team. I can remember what it was like with Frank Gantz and the years it took for the team to restore it's credibility in this town. Surely Clark remembers his daddy having headaches.
tony, can you please just drop the kc pro sports blogs? they're never, not ever, no way, no how leaving, changing, or improving. this area is the perfect nexus for what we have. "so ur teams crappy...so whaddya gonna do, dummy?". head to the beach, go to the mountains, rock climb, hike the trails and see amazing wild life, take off to the theater district, snow ski, snow mobile, snorkle, go shelling, watch a sunrise/set over the ocean, take a peek at the art district. seriously..summers here, ridiculous. by the beginning of august we feel like we're in a cesspool of filthy, muggy air. winter..come on, it's stupid cold...but rarely any snow that amounts to crap to. so then what? i'll tell you what. we drag our asses to bottom rung franchises and take it and feel important cause we got skin in the game or so we think...and ownership knows it. they know that avg salaries here don't allow for people to jet set or run off to shy town, denver, vegas, miami, east/west coast for two, let alone a family of four. these asses make money every year...every stinking losing season they make bank. and people and local companies continue to line up and demand subpar results. two..two 24 hr radio sport stations plus MU or KU talk randomly on other news radio stations. they know...psyc 101, that we'll stick our bottom lips out but take it dry. do serious people honestly think that companies decide to come here because we have laughing stock pro sports entertainment? that's what you'll hear on sports talk..that it ligitimizes us to everyone else. this areas ligit alright..for all the wrong reasons
