Yes May is an artist with a different view of things. Some just can't stand to see someone who has talent when they have none.
Her morbid view of life reminds me of what Bob Berdella might be like if he was a female.

Bashing gays doesn't prove you aren't gay. Supporting equal rights for gays doesn't prove you are. This isn't a school yard where you have to prove that you aren't gay to the other little boys who worry about whether they are gay or not.
