Too bad Joplin burned down its mosque on August 6. After attempting to on July 4th.

Its not like they volunteered to go. They were given orders to go.. don't get me wrong, everyone in the dept would have gone if given the opportunity to do so..

But will they even mention the mosque?

IF they didn't volunteer then they REALLY deserve a commendation.

They may have volunteered, but were they paid for working in Joplin? Nice OT?

I'm so fucking sick and tired of hearing about the tornado in Joplin.
How long can the media possibly continue to beat a dead horse? It was a tragic event and left a lot of people dead in its wake. LET'S MOVE ON WITH OUR LIVES!
Oh yeah, if you think KCPD cops are corrupt, one of Joplin's own was fired for taking merchandise from a liquor store that had been destroyed during the tornado.

Did they run speed traps there?

It wasn't an officer on the JPD, it was the Police Chief and Mayor from nearby town in kansas. Typical kansas trash!!!!!

Robert, it was a joplin police officer that got the axe. I know that for a fact. He took stuff from liquor store/gas station called Macadoodle's. You're right also. There was a firefighter from a neighboring community that got caught with his hand in the till. I didn't hear the one about the Mayor.
Details if you have any please.
