African Americans have long refused to ask the question about why so many African Americans revert to violence and crime. As a young Hispanic woman, I have been looking for an answer to that question regarding members of my own ethnicity. When misguided Liberal politicians treat human beings like they treat animals in a zoo -- by feeding them, clothing them, housing them, training them and taking care of their medical needs -- then why does it surprise us when those human beings revert to animal-like violence? After all, part of the human experience is to take responsibility for one's actions. When the government takes this responsibility, you no longer know how to behave. Language, cultural differences and poverty don't cause this. After all, there are many different minority groups that are a segment that are poor but for whom the statistics vary little in terms of criminal activity. And, of course, there have been many poor people in this country for centuries who didn't laugh when they beat up a woman. This is a result of the "new slavery" -- in which certain segments of society are in chains to the bones of welfare that are thrown to them by some politicians who long for power. When a large segment of a culture is willing to forsake their longstanding moral and religious views on issues like abortion and the goals of homosexual activists by voting in the pro-abortion or pro-homosexual activist politicians simply because those politicians promise a few more entitlement perks, then that culture will go into a steady decline. If you don't believe me, then I dare you to walk through the government projects in any major city after 10 PM at night. If you feel any less safe than walking in the suburbs or small-town America, then you aren't being honest with yourself.

And so ends the great democratic experiment that was America. Hey, we had a good run, we made a little money, built a nice little country, and kicked a few butts along the way. But wether anyone wants to admit it the country is in decline and when end with a whimper. Stories like these from around the nation are symptoms of the social degradation. The social fabric is what was needed to keep this country moving forward but it is deteriorating quickly. This is no long recession, this is the beginning of economic failure. It may not be a complete collapse but it is going to at least sputter to a stop like an old automobile on it's last leg. We almost saw the light in the distance from the great city on a hill. When was it? 1945 perhaps? But somewhere along the journey we lost our way. Was it 1968 when the country tired of war and the hippies decided that free love and dope was the way and authority was to be challenged at every opportunity regardless of the public good? Or perhaps it was our unwillingness to truly fight the war on terror and let it demoralize us? Or perhaps it was the counterculture now all grown up and running our financial institutions and government into the ground? One thing is self evident, however, it is the right wing of the republican party and the crazy left wing dems who shoulder the substantial culpability in this great country's decline as they no longer legislate for the good of the country, rather they follow party lines. As an independent moderate maybe my kind deserves some blame but we can only vote for those that the two dysfunctional parties provide us. Yes, it was a great run. The history books will talk of this country as it does Rome, a once great empire that spanned the globe until it crumbled from within. Who knows, perhaps in a few hundred years the experiment will be tried again by a fledgling young country with people who are bold, daring, civilized, good citizens, and willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

He wrongly thought she threw water on him and he just punched her when she wasn't looking. Where are the riots for this? There were none because nobody saw this as racism and the media didn't promote it as such. The exact same scenario, with races switched on both these incidents and the media would run wild with racism stories and the animals would riot....again
