Democracy dies just a little bit more in Kansas City today given this private voting effort . . .
The Jackson County Court Administrator's office today will mail out ballots to 697 downtown registered voters who qualified to vote in the downtown streetcar mail-in election. Those ballots are due Dec. 11th.
Don't worry too much about it . . . You probably won't be getting a ballot in a rigged election for which all of Kansas City will pay dearly sooner or later when THIS SET OF PROMISES FAILS to live up to expectations and politicos and corporations have long moved on with their accolades and profits.

So, if the goal is to get people from point A to point B in a quick and effecient manner, than why not expand the KC Strip? Seriously, how many fake trollies could you run for $90M? They have already made plans to dedicate street space to this, so you could just run the trollies in that space and save the cost of laying track.
Inasmuch as kc politicians always seem to avoid criminal charges for their grifting schemes, I think it's time to bring back tar and feathers.
