People like Todd Akin are the reason abortions are legal.

I believe the "women on fire" for Akin that Mrs. Huckabee references are those being metaphorically burned at the stake. If I am correct,, that would certainly account for Akin's belief that a woman's body can shut down to prevent pregnancy from legitimate rape.
