KMBC: The Royals have chosen not to renew the contract of (i.e. fired) hitting coach Kevin Seitzer after the team finished 72-90 for its ninth consecutive losing season.

If they would lower expectations before the season, then 72-90 would seem like a winning season.
ReplyDeleteHitting was not the problem in 2012A waiver wire starting pitching staff was the problem.
ReplyDeleteOur starting pitching sucked so they fired the hitting coach. Somehow, with the current management, that makes perfect sense.
