KANSAS CITY OVERNIGHT!!! CHECK OUT SPOOKY AND PURPLE UNION STATION!!!

Walking home I noticed that Kansas City's Union Station bathed in purple light for Halloween Celebration.
It's a nice look and kinda spooky.

Because mass transit in Kansas City is mostly a myth . . . The place was pretty much deserted which made the lights seem all the more haunting.

Union Station was once known as "Kansas City's Front Porch" but now it's basically some very HIGH DOLLAR office space for local big biz and the Greater KC Chamber Of Commerce.
A lot of people don't know that Kansas City's Union Station is haunted.
And so, because I'm careful to stay away from ghosts and other ghouls on Downtown Kansas City streets, I beat it out of there pretty quick with only a few photos to show for my stop.
Hopefully, those of us who make it through the evening can look forward to even more local content, links, BREAKING/EXCLUSIVE NEWS, discussion, discourse, hateration and all kinds of good stuff in just a few . . . STAY TUNED!!!

I love you, Tony. I remember riding the train as a child and then later as an adult. I loved the hustle and bustle of Union Station back then. I loved to hear the trains as they entered and left the station!
Thanks for the reminder!
love the pics!
The place will be haunting the tax payers into the next century.
