KSHB and a reminder that a pricey toy train that only travels a couple of miles is a tourist attraction and nothing besides: "A new study shows Kansas City gets only passing grades in providing access to jobs and housing through public transportation."

I hope that study didn't cost too much. Ask the po folk and they'll tell you it's damned hard to get from here to there in this town.
One thing that KCMO does really well is to keep the gravy train running for the consulting, engineering, and planning firms. Hundreds of thousands of dollars after year for nifty books and presentations that line the bookshelves of city hall.
And, just like the case of the streetcar, a new study is started even before there's any results from the first.
What a deal!
Anonymous is right on target about the consulting, engineering, and planning firms. They are getting millions upfront and KCMO taxpayers will be footing the bill forever.
