Why does a court administrator need to be politically astute?
Because EVERYTHING in KCMO, including the courts, is about insiders, egos, personalities, and who you know.
Look at the rest of the operation and try to figure out how the priorities of city activities and spending are being set.
Certainly doesn't look like there's much intelligent thought or planning involved!
Considering the main purpose of the municipal court is to raise funds for the city this is an important position.
Deeper story here, but you need to scratch at the surface.
Please enlighten us, or just stop talking shit.
another six figure bureaucrat job that could be done by an hourly clerk.
Looks like they are finally privitizing that HR function, which is a good thing.
