KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #84!!!

Tonight there was a deadly shooting in an apartment parking lot near @ 10th Street and Brooklyn Avenue.

Police are still investigating the shooting but the TV newsies at the scene are reporting that nobody is talking . . . As usual.

Unofficially but checking with KCPD Crime Stats online . . . This is Kansas City's 84th homicide this year compared to 87 last year.

Overall it was a pretty violent night in Kansas City . . . Example:

Three Kansas City, Mo., police officers were injured Wednesday evening while trying to apprehend a man who was spotted outside a south Kansas City apartment complex.

Remember that last year cold weather didn't prevent local violence or murder and that kind of busts the myth that homicide is related to temperature . . .

DEVELOPING . . .

There's a few other deaths that were not classified (yet) as homicides. Like the homeless guy that was found beaten to death in the woods by the homeless camp. Yeah...he did that to himself. No homicide there. #85

That's a shame. Where do they get the money for bullets? My heart goes out to the family of the person found dead in O. G. Investment's parking lot.

They get the money to buy the bullets because the Kansas City government is only self serving, Look at the merger of Mast into the fire dept...a real FAIL, look at the streets..a real Fail...does anyone even know how many water main breaks happen in this city everyday? The politicians want to make a mark while they are in office, just like any Governor or President, they all tell you what you want to hear, and you sheeple believe it, so you get what you deserve!!

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info. Incidentally, as of today the figures for homicides in KCMO for 2012 are 84--compared to 87 at this time in 2011 and 83 at this time in 2010. So, crime situation appears to be pretty much the same as it has been for several years. Take care!! Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
