KANSAS CITY FUN AND GAMES!!!

Given that NOBODY expects the Kansas City Chiefs to win today . . . Let's make things a tad more interesting and look at a few more local losing trends as more people acknowledge this theme of FAIL in local pro-sports . . .

SPRINT CENTER TURNS FIVE AND IT STILL CAN'T SUPPORT THE P&L DISTRICT!!!

At this point . . . Sen. Claire is just playing with Todd Akin

Now LJ just runs his mouth and still makes excuses: TMZ: Former KC Chief Johnson Refutes Assault Charge

Face it . . . Neither Kemper nor The Sprint Center have a very bright future.

Once again there's talk of "renaissance" in Manheim Park which usually just means an opportunity for money quotes from politicos.

LJ needs to come back to KCMO and link up with Kyle. Smartmouthing the police and punching women in the face; what a team!
Make it happen, T. You'd have grist for this blog every single day.
And Sly would be so proud.

No, any renaissance in a place like Mannheim Park must mean money from somewhere other than Mannheim Park heading for the eager hands of the same old grifter crowd.
There'll be "contractors", "consultants",neighborhood activists", "ombudsmen", and many many more lining up to get a piece of the action.
And when it's all over, POOF, all gone with nothing to show for it. Except a big dinner whre everyone gets to congratulate each other.
Anyone really watching who and what is going on with this joke?

Neither Kemper nor the Sprint Center have very bright futures because they're in KCMO, which is deteriorating every day. When the ship sinks, the ballroom and buffets disappear with it.

Contact Freedom Inc for help. They have elected most of the Council and they are truly a responsible, neighborhood oriented and ethical non government organization that put our leadership in office.

Post back what they will do to help...
Another idea would be to contact Nutter for help.

Far too much perspective from CITY HALL GOVERNMENT of Kansas City on this blog. Too much attention to buildings and projects. All easy stuff to gather because so many gumment workers send emails with their personal agendas to Tony for publication.

But the fact remains, 12th and Oak workers work in a BUBBLE.

You have to admit that the center did help keep AEG going - even through the MJ mess.

The Sprint Center is one of the few going concerns downtown. It doesn't need another shitty sports franchise around its neck.

Work in a bubble and are bubbleheaded as well.

Let me translate Tony's sentiments (and the rest of you people's too) about Sprint Center:

"Sprint Center isn't a failure like we hoped it would be, DAMMIT!!"

I heard there are performers too afraid to come to KC and perform at the sprint center, I guess for them money isnt everything lol
