Dear Mr. Tony: Could someone please explain to me why it is a national news story that a GOP candidate for state senate in Kansas is opposed to gay marriage? I suppose next that Huff Post will breathlessly reveal that the NRA opposes confiscation of guns and that AARP opposes the abolition of Social Security.
