This is strange because Kansas City is a Democratic stronghold and the overwhelming majority of his support comes from organizations with strong Democratic ties . . . Which are far more important than bow ties.
Furthermore . . . Mayor Sly will personally answer even the most innocuous tweet but his silence on the Prez debate speaks volumes and maybe brings to light a great deal of criticism regarding his lackluster Democratic Party credentials.
On the other hand, Jason Grill is Kansas City's brightest, young, shining star when it comes to political punditry and he seemed to give the debate to Prez Obama.

"Romney was not perfect, but I think he won on delivery and on the truth. When Romney stated the facts on where we are economically. (Prez) Obama had no answers. Romney called Prez Obama out on Libya and President Obama got offended on at being questioned . . .
"The debate pandered toward women, most of whom appreciate politeness and nice manners. Neither man was perfect in that department, but President Obama's bully needle moved more. I don't think women voters will appreciate his answers, his pandering or his style. Lots of bark, weak bite."
"Also, moderator ran to help President Obama when he claimed that he called Libya a terrorist attack the next day and she backed it up. A quick look at the transcripts proved he did not say that and she was incorrect. So, President Obama scored, albeit unfairly."

Note to council: Every time you blog or post about your travel to everywhere except your district to actually help the people that elected you, it just makes you look worse. The only people that praise your hard work in various vacation spots are the suck-ups and hangers on. One person asked a very good question of Wagner; "What experience do you have that makes you capable of conducting International business?" Good question. The answer, nothing. He's just along for the free ride. Same with Circo. Unless you are trying to start a salon franchise you should probably stay at home. She has done nothing but cut ribbons in her district and take credit for city staff's work.

I follow Wagner's posts and he said specifically what he learned on these trips and how he would apply that to his work with the City. He also posted specifically on the business contacts he was making on behalf of KC business. If you never leave your district, how do you make business contacts outside of it?

Obama did fine and to say that Romney won this one just isn't true. The thing that's so tough about debating Romney is that you never know what his position is going to be. His name should be "Shifty."
