Seriously, the nation hasn't seen anything so goofy since the Bush years.
Anyhoo . . . "The Bow" was hilarious on so many levels except for one that makes me excited to vote.
2. Rep. Cleaver's Kansas City Win
We already noted this one but the fiery speech was an important moment for this mostly irrelevant cowtown.

4. The Democratic Party Has A Better Soundtrack
I heard disco, a few current tunes and even a classic rock track . . . There was a barbershop quartet and other embarrassing crooning @ The GOP event by contrast.
5. HILLARY CLINTON IS GETTING EMBARRASSED ON AN ASIAN ROAD TRIP AND NOWHERE TO BE SEEN AT THE CONVENTION!!!
During the 90s a few D.C. friends told me things were always more exciting when Hillary leaves town . . . Apparently this is still correct.
To wit . . . Tonight is the big night as we prepare to endure the next speech from a politico asking for a vote as THE GLOBAL ECONOMY LOOKS FORWARD TO YET ANOTHER SEASON OF BAD RETURNS IN THE ONGOING GREAT RECESSION!!!

I think Clinton did it just ram Rush Limbaughs "bow winning" to pay respect for foreign leaders up his ass. NO QUESTION, Clinton wants to see Obama reelected. OF COURSE. He's not a dumb guy! This is a critical election and no time for libertarians to run our country with so many important issues on the table. Republicans have blocked government progress far too long.
Dirtclods like Republican Senator Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Republican Rep John Boehner need to be put in their places as feckless obstructionists! They are virtually treasonous to party loyalty against the best interest of the nation.

The bow was nice but it doesn't mean much. The economy is a much bigger deal.

Clinton made some good points that need to be drilled into the electorate over and over again, including that it is unreasonable to expect the mess the Bushies took 8 years to make to be cleaned up in fewer than 4 years (and with only obstruction from Republicans).
Further, all the Democrats have to do to answer the question, "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" is to play news clips from the summer and fall of 2008, including a fall in the Dow from 13,338 (close to where it is now) in January to 7,449 in November.
That's a question Republicans should really think twice about asking.
