Prairie Village Pulls The Plug On X-Mas!!!

While I never believed in Santa Claus, I was surprised to find out that the so-called "War On Christmas" is real.

Accordingly . . .

AFTER ALMOST 50 YEARS IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE, MIKE BABICK IS NOW FORCED TO MOVE HIS EPIC CHRISTMAS DISPLAY TO ANOTHER COMMUNITY!!!

It's a tragic but not surprising commentary regarding the values of hypocrite Golden Ghetto suburbanites who don't really value much beyond their vapid lifestyle. On the bright side, this is a good example that it's not liberals or the media or anything less than Conservative, JoCo group think that's pushing Christmas out of a Kansas community.

Ah Tony Tony Tony, the champion of the little guy, the one who stands up and promotes everything about bloggers, yet on this issue you choose to got with the big TV stations rather than the local blogger covering the situation. But then as I look at all your links most go to the Star, that dead tree media you yap about. You like all others in the "news" game play your favs, and leave your principles at home in the basement.

Actually, Tony doesn't leave his priniciples in the basement, because that's where HE spends his time and having them there right in front of you can be uncomfortable.
Tony's priniciples reside under the I-35 underpass just up the street.

I think the important thing about this story is the war on Christians. Not Christmas.

We need a war on the Christmas. Personally I think more Christians should buck against the capitalist abomination that it is.

That is what happens when you let your mythology get corrupted.

Ive got to imagine that living next to this monstrosity would suck more than say, an airplane on top of a building in a mostly commercial area.

7:08... tony is ignoring the local blogger, if it's who i think you're referring to, because he lives in PV. tony cannot accept a local blogger who lives better than he does. and he's probably jealous too because jay does actual reporting, fact checks and all.

Such a lame ad. I think Spence is taking a page out of the millionaire Romney playbook. Not in touch with the middle class. Sorry Spence, close but no straw. Problem is that GOP has a tough time differentiating themselves from Gov. Jay because HE IS A REPUBLICAN!

I think that that display is WAY over the top. It looks like someone vomited Christmas all over.

I guess the Village tourism bureau will be shutting down too?
